Thistle slept soundly, until she felt Squeeks give a bump and a nudge. “Pffffffff”

“Hey Squeeks, what's up?” She gave the toy a hug partly out of affection, and partly to test its air pressure. Sure enough, the soft toy got softer as she squeezed it.

“Is somepony up for round two, I wonder?”

Thistle turned around and saw Squeeks' tail valve still in place, and no bubbles rose from underneath the toy. Finally she saw that they had snagged on a sharp stick protruding from the shore. “I'm sorry Squeeks, I don't remember that being there!" She slid off the deflating toy. Pulling it on shore, she gave it another hug. The leaky toy's head drooped over her shoulder like it was hugging her back. “Don't worry, I'll patch you up quick, and then we can get some nice hissey revenge on Poop for Brains!”

“Wait a minute...” The filly blinked in surprise. “This isn't the tree I tied you to, where is this place?”

Looking around the filly found that she was in an eddy on the side of a stream that ran through a dark forest.

“Oh, Squeeks, we broke loose, where are we?”

Thistle walked up the bank. “Oh, what is that scent?” She looked before her. A field of blue flowers spread out. She inhaled deeply. “Mmmmm, they smell wonderful!” Her stomach growled. “Oh, I wonder what they taste like?”




This has been a really bad summer for Poor Squeeks! Maybe she'll catch a break once autumn rolls around! =^^=

I love Thistle's pose here. I also like her thicker poofier mane. Should I ever get a ton of money again I might make a third toy of her to reflect the larger mane...
