Concept design of the evolution of the Hisuian growlithe from pokemon legends Arceus! I love koma inu statues they are actually some of my favorite creature designs of all time.

Eyebrows are a reference to the kabuto helmet or magnamalo from monster hunter. Bell collar is actually a soothe bell from the game or the clear bell/crystal bell from the anime that is used to the summon ho-oh. The idea is I had was that the hisuian growlithe would need to have that attached and then achieved high friendship before exposing it to a firestone to get it to evolve. These specific arcanine do function as guardians for legendary pokemon temples or in general.

Type? Possible Fire Rock or Fire Dragon or Dragon Rock. I like the idea of them being Fire Dragon however.

I think I'll do more art of this guy later as I have lots of concepts similar to this in my sketchbook for a mega arcanine called Aidan. So meet Aidan!
