Alvar is the proud single father of Alvina and Rheta, who can laugh at almost anything and it's rare to see him without a smile. He's a very warm and caring person whose number one priority is the well-being and happiness of his daughters'. He's what you could call a wholesome dad who might have a bad sense of humour, but who in the past has built muscle mass just so he could carry his daughters' around. Alvar supports him and his family by running his very own cafe/pub called Revon Tupa, where he also employes his now adult daughter, Alvina.
