I came home this weekend after a wonderful weekend at Den Fur, only to have my emotions turned upended when my youngest guinea pig of my 5 boy herd had succumbed to heat exhaustion issues when we got him back home after our travels. Such is the cruelty of Arizona’s notoriously deadly summer heat. He was already young and small plus had the long fur coat of a silky breed, and his first travels turned out to be too much. But he was a darling in the 1 + years we had and held him. Love you, little bud, popcorn free over the Rainbow bridge.
