I'm in just about all the Facebook groups [A lot of the reason I made this pic] some of the Puppeters seem to be in the groups so I'm hoping they'll give the heads up if theres a second series or take my point Badgers are under used [That Pissed me off about "The Animals of Farthing wood" too, it was kind of Fox Bias]

i do like how they have badgers as the more intellegent wordly wise characters though, like the doctor and the priest lol. that made me giggle. but yeah i know what you mean about the whole fox bias thing. that annoys me in everything a little. cos foxes are always the more popular of british wildlife. people dont even seem to notice the others, kingfishers, mink, wildcats (mainly scotland on that one though lol) there really isnt enough focus on badgers and deer in my opinion.

Yeah don't get me started on how Farthing Wood covered Badgers [In there 1st series]

I just think Mongrels should have maybe a Badger semi regular chara, not just the same puppet slightly re-dressed for one off charas, the Scottish Hedgehog was kind of cool too [Guy Falkes ep]

Yeah the Blu Rays brilliant, my only gripe is that the 2nd Pilot "The Un- natrual world" doesn't seem to be on it, although you get to see a ton of clips from it [Maybe they're keeping that back for a Series 2 extra I dunno] See my Above comment on that

Yeah it does, I'm just bugged the "Un Natural world" Pilot isn't included on either release, just shown as odd clips, I'd realy like to see it

Not sure how genuine it is, but the web site of TX Media, who apparently produce the series for the BBC (although they don't seem to appear in the credits for the series as far as I could see), is claiming that a second series has been commissioned, to air in early 2011: http://trafalgar-group.co.uk/default.aspx

Its very hard to get Mongrels here in the US because the BBC player blocks non-UK IPs. But, I have managed to see the first 8 episodes. Don't know if that is all, or if there are more. I didn't like it at first but it has grown on me, especially Vince. So, is Vince Nelson's brother?

Cool that a new series is coming but I have to wait for the videos to come on youtube. BBC refuses to play their vids to foriegn IPs. :( *sad bear*

I expect they'll get put up on Youtube pretty much the day or so after [They did that last series, FurFans not BBC youtubes which are also overseas blocked I mean] always amazes me how American stuff like the Kung Fu Panda TV Specials get put up on Youtube [So I can see them / overseas too]

Yeah starts in August [+ a Xmas special apparently] I watch some of the Puppetters on Facebook, I've been bugging them to put more Badgers in the 2nd series [Which is why I took this photo the day the BR came out]

Same here I got a few of the puppeteers on twitter as well. My self I'm hoping BBC will produce some more merchandise other than just video. I think there's a market for cute plushes! :D Oh how I wish I would of had time and had won the raffle to tour the set.
