Part 3 of my Starfleet uniform timeline.

On the left is the uniform from 2265 to the start of the 2270s- as seen in Star Trek: The Original Series (as well as The Animated Series and [in slightly modified form] all three Abrams films, where they saw use from at least the 2250s onward in the Kelvin timeline). In the middle is the uniform adopted for a short time in the 2270s- as seen in Star Trek: The Motion Picture (probably the least popular of all Star Trek uniforms- hence the slight grimace on the me that's wearing it- I included it purely for completion's sake). On the right, the uniform in use from the 2280s (as early as 2278, if Captain Morgan Bateson is anything to go by) all the way to the late 2340s with only minor modifications throughout- as seen in the remaining TOS films from Wrath of Khan onwards and in flashbacks to Captain Picard's early career (I elected for the crewneck jumper as seen with my USS Renard crew here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32348273/ ; introduced after the 2290s to replace the ribbed collar- and keeping the belt, which had been phased out by the 2340s).
