I get this question a lot, but I always like answering.
A design choice made when I first created her!
Going on...seven-ish years now. The most conparisons I get are the Rito from Wind Waker despite not actually taking from their design and going off a concept I had in my head.
In short: It stands out, and I always liked it, so I never changed it ^^
