The original sketch for this was done back in 2011 (and you can see it in my scraps folder if you want). When I first drew it those 10 years ago I had it in mind to include some beastie she was going to throw the harpoon at, but at this point, I'm not gonna bother. Still, I liked the sketch a lot, though it has its faults, and it had a purpose to serve, so I went ahead and finished it.

The character shown is Lanifer, some kind of semi-aquatic dragon-type creature from a series of stories I wrote when I was... 11-13 years old, I think? Sadly, the only picture I had of her from back when she was first created got destroyed, so it lives only in my memory now. And if the species ever had any name, which it probably did, I have totally forgotten what it was.
