What is ironic, now that I think about it, is that his size is what will kill him.
Because the air is so thin the higher you are, there is no way that he is able to receive enough, if not, any oxygen to keep his massive body functioning.
And if somehow he is able to survive without oxygen, he will either freeze or burn to death, depending on what side of the earth he is on.
And if THAT doesn't kill him, the amount of UV radiation from the sun can cause many problems including: skin cancer, premature aging, cataracts and immune suppression.
