the Maxx was always a favorite of mine. I mean, even before it became an underrated TV show. Anyway, I recently saw this on DeviantArt:

It's one of those stories you kind of hafta see from the begining.

It's a deep psychological study type thing.

Ah the Maxx - I've got the full comic downstairs. The series is fantastic, but only covers about two of six collected volumes.

I collected the early issues up to about 12. My local comic store didn't offer a subscription service and I missed a whole bunch of issues due, mostly to being broke. I'll probably go after the collected volumes sometime.

Ah broke - the scourge of comic collectors everywhere. There were a lot of delays in the release of the collections, but the full set is now out. If you think the early stories are surreal, wait til you get further in o.O

I have read a few of the later ones where Sarah's Maxx is being introduced and explored. It's pretty damn weird.

It's hard. All the early image comics are hard to find.

I actually have one called Darker Image that was a compilation of three short stories by Kim Lee, Rob Liefeld and Sam Keith. His was a Maxx one shot that is damned near impossible to find.
