Well colour me productive.
I had this sketch sitting for a while with the one for Savannah Queen. Both were drawn one day at a friend's house, and were intended to be a pair, but I decided otherwise. This one instead got a quick digital colour job.
All the same, stripey 'yena, never drawn one before, enjoy.

I've never seen anything that specifies aardwolves are any different from "normal" mammals, so I'm guessing they're not.
From Wikipedia's "Hyena" article:
"The majority of hyena species show little sexual dimorphism, with males being only slightly larger than the females. The Spotted Hyena is an exception to this, with females larger than males. One unusual feature of the Spotted Hyena is that females have an enlarged clitoris, called a pseudo-penis, demi-penis, or sometimes mistakenly referred to as a nanophallus. Female hyenas give birth, copulate, and urinate through their protruding genitalia, which stretches to allow the male penis to enter for copulation; it also stretches during birth. The anatomical position of the genitalia gives females complete control over which males are allowed to mate with them."
The fact it singles out the spotted hyena and I've never seen a mention of this applying to the other species says to me that the spotted is alone in its..uhh..evolution? :P

cute, curved, and accurately done. :) I have found a few pics online (8 hits only on google? aww, c'man!) of which one shows a very grumpy-looking male striped hyena. :) I seemed to have failed to look closer, but then I saw they have really short muzzles, and curiously shaped earshells. ^^
