Malchi is a dark energy dragon as his flames and laser produces crystals. He grows up as crystals grows on his body.

Hard crystals produced as result of dark flame are without power, forcely turns anything into formulation of crystals and often with lethal results as crystals forms on body, replacing whatever is on the body. The crystals are found to be made of organic materials forcely turned into solid crystal formulation. It is brittle as its hard. Range of the fire is the same as the range of other dragon's fire.

Soft or Organic crystals is what grows on Malchi's body, hard and soft at the same time. He can feel through it as its his skin. It also acts as energy storage, hence why it glows from inside. The crystals eventually replace the organs within his body and retain the same functionality. Older he becomes he is more crystallite on the inside, making him even harder to kill.

Unstable crystals produced by the laser is akin to explosives of modern era with high fragmentation. A small crystal with too much energy stored into it, its suspected that the laser forces some kind of chemical triple bonding at angles so wrong a disaster will follow, all it takes is a little breeze. The laser is very precise and has no limit in range but the power is spread out over the distance, increasing the surface area and at the same time lessening the impact. It can reach the moon and make a small visible boom.

Malchi is son of Safira sisters and one of the most valued dragon. His body structure and crystals makes the physical corruption from different sources extremely difficult. Malchi has very slow growth rate that he becomes an adult at the size of young dragon, and elder at size of an adult as most of his growth is focused on crystallization and increasing energy storage. It is thought the organic crystals are heavy, but the sight of him out competing most young energetic dragons over the long distance. He lacks in speed or bulk, he is endurance dragon. He can fight for long period of time by conserving his energy, or end the fight as it begin with a single laser to the unfortunate dragon.
