I had this character in my head for about a couple years since I first thought him up.

And I couldn't be more happy to finally make him.

His name is Raze and he's a Hellhound. But he's not just any Hellhound, he's one that doesn't wish to cause havoc for mortals, but instead choose to help them with selfless resolve.

As for how he came about, he was born in Hell as the son of a malevolent and diabolical demon named Darnoc, one of the worst demons anyone could meet. Their relationship was definitely NOT the best, due in part to Raze's refusal to embrace his father's sinister ways, which put the two at constant odds with each other because of how Raze wished to help mortals rather than menace them.

The animosity between them would reach an all time high when Darnoc began plotting to invade the surface world, which greatly angered Raze to such a degree that he not only berated him for it, but even went as far to punch him out when Darnoc laughed at him and called him weak.

From there and so forth, Raze would ultimately depart from Hell and escape up into the surface world, taking on the disguise of an ordinary anthro canid to blend in, going by the alias of Ryan Helstrit to keep his cover in check.

But unfortunately, danger would soon arise about a week later when he picked up on the presence of demons downtown, causing havoc for civilians. Acting quickly, he immediately tracked them down and, being forced to reveal his true self, engaged them in a ferocious, with various onlookers being shocked to see a demon actively protecting them. Despite being outnumbered and overwhelmed at first, Raze eventually managed to put in enough effort to prevail against these beastly demons, killing one of them in the process.

He looked at the surrounding crowd, worrying that they would tremble in fear at the sight of him. But instead, what he got in return.....was praise and cheer. While surprised by this, he had no time to think about it as he was confronted by a group of cloak wearing priests who wielded weapons of holy variety, aiming to kill him. Knowing he stood no chance, he forced himself to retreat.

Following this experience, and upon deducing that it was his father Darnoc who had sent those demons here, Raze had resolved to continue fighting for the innocent, fearlessly facing any demon that dared to threaten the surface world, next to punishing sinners who escape containment and avoiding demon hunter priests.

Personality: Unlike most demons, Raze displays a rather benevolent and caring attitude, treating civilians with the utmost formality and kindness. While naturally aggressive when provoked, he more commonly prefers living a laid back and relaxed lifestyle.

However, when he picks up the presence of more malevolent and merciless demons, as well as the baddest of sinners, he will immediately seek out and confront them, refusing to give up until they're dealt with.

But despite this, there are some supernatural beings that he gets along with well, such as his sister Razara, who's easygoing and fun loving attitude makes him feel content.

In addition, as many would expect, he has within him an innate desire to seek personal pleasure. Unlike Razara who has no qualms with getting around with men, Raze finds himself often trying to resist temptation when in the presence of women, especially when around ones that he likes. Though he has given in more times than one when the mood is right, he still continues with trying to suppress it.

Abilities & Weaknesses: Raze is without a doubt a powerful Hellhound, possessing enough sufficient strength and resilience that enables him to battle most if not all savage demons that he meets. He even knows a thing or two about martial arts and is a good hand to hand fighter. He is also quite fast, capable of dodging bullets and even outpacing athletic runners.

Naturally, like real canids, he has keen senses which allow him to track targets by sound, sight and smell. These senses especially come in handy when hunting down demons who attempt to use disguises to hide among a crowd.

Speaking of which, whenever Raze feels a need to hide himself from public view, he disguises himself in a normal looking anthro form in order to blend in.

Lastly, he wields the ability to generate and control the likes of Hellfire, which he often uses as a means of making his attacks more effective in battle, with one of his signature moves being the "Hellfire Fist", though on occasion, he will also breath it out through his mouth, usually when enraged.

He is also able to traverse between Hell and the surface via the use of fiery portals that he can open and close with enough proper concentration, which comes in handy when transporting sinners back to where they belong.

His demonic physiology renders him immune to normal injuries that would prove fatal to mortals, as he heals from them almost instantly.

In contrast however, he will find himself experiencing a great deal of excruciating pain when attacked with any holy based weapons, which can even potentially kill him if he fails to avoid them enough.
