Miah's face is so much more complicated than Gerik's who has that
simple big hard cone beak taking up all that space. For Gerik, I have to
make use of the few floppy parts and cigarette/smoke to get some
dynamic shapes, but Miah's face is practically all rubbery squiggles
and soft bits. I think have the basic pattern down, but it will take practice.

I absolutely -love- this series. I grew up with the Jim Henson version of Musicians of Bremen and this concept blows my mind. Since she's a country girl under the stylings of Johnny Cash, I figured you'd appreciate this.

Keep up the great work.

I imagine you could probably get a lot of expression out of those ears, as well as the tilt of her cap etc. :D I'm not sure how I feel about the Sphynx design still, but it's certainly arresting, I can say that much. I kind of imagined she'd be a little more smirky, for some reason.
