Flawed? Oh hell NO.

I understand each and every thing you stated in this writing. To think that we still go to churches that justify each and every little "setback" that "we no like" as "works of the devil." Well MAYBE if they were doing their freaking jobs right, we wouldn't be playing videogames and watching movies that feature *GASP!* "HIDEOUS DEMONS that supposedly have the "power" to corrupt us by, uh...making traffic lights go red when WE want them green, or, uh...making senile and psychotic old women in their 50s go nuts about the men they've been digging gold out from under for decades past, and I'm not making any sense now so :P on this vein of explanation. :V

Seriously, how far does anyone think they're gonna get by flat out telling the masses that their "God" is "jealous?" D: SORRY! DANTE, VERGIL, SUPER MARIO, AND TINGLE COMBINED KICK MORE ASS THAN YOU! WE'RE SORRY TO BE HORRIBLY "backslidden" AND USELESS! D: ...

Strong words. Interesting that you picked up on the religious side of things more than anything else...
I am glad to receive your high praise (which I don't think this warrants) and I don't mean for you to take this the wrong way or anything but I'm not sure that we're on the same wavelength as to what I meant, seeing as you're mainly talking about religion and it is not the key focus of this piece.
I'm not saying that I disagree with what you're saying (a lot of it makes sense and I agree) but rather that any mention of religion in this piece simply serves as an example of groups who are prone to stereotyping as well as possibly reflecting some of my own attitude towards religion...which is another vast topic altogether and I could waste many hours writing my views about it.

On the other hand though, writing is meant to be interpreted and indeed holds different meanings for each reader, so we all have our own way of viewing things and the same words can invoke different meanings, thoughts, memories and emotions. Also, if you do understand my original meaning in this writing then I apologise, it's hard to tell.
Again, thank you for taking the time to read and comment, as well as the praise. I may move it out of my scraps but I don't know yet...perhaps if I can get a few more opinions on it and I decide that it's not as bad as I originally thought I may do so. As it is though I still think that even by my low standards it's pretty rough around the edges so I'm keeping it here for now.

Yes, although unfortunately it appears to be human nature to do this. Even if it is natural for us to do so, we can still fight it and only use labels and stereotypes as a last resort for making decisions.
