The Empire of Monsters - The Empire of Monsters is the least settled continent in the world, named after the country that controls the entire continent. The continent is known for the massive monsters that inhabit the wilds of the land. The climate is varied, with grasslands, forests, and snowy tigas. To the south of the continent sits several jungle covered islands known as The Primeval Keys.Region
The Primeval Keys - Some distance south from The Empire of Monsters, lay a collection
of small islands known as The Primeval Keys. This collection of islands are tropical in climate with large beaches. While settlers to the area are still rather new, stone ruins stand within the jungle, the origins of which are still unknown as no previous inhabitants have been identified.Cities
Gangju - The largest of the settled villages in the keys, Gangju is nestled between the mountain range and forest of The Dense Island. The inhabitants are said to be some of the leading experts in hunting Jungle Wyverns. With their main export being said expert hunters, specifically paid by The Bastion in Everton, much of their economy relies on this mercenary work.
Gwaje Enclave - Founded on the large beaches of The Hissing Isle, the Gwaje Enclave was the first place in the keys settled by Rajin City. As the only source of contact many of the settlements have with the larger Empire of Monsters, it’s relatively tranquil waters are patrolled by Sea Monster Hunters. Due to its safety, being on the least dangerous island, it has found itself being an unexpected tourist destination from the wealthy of Everton.Notable Locations
The Hissing Isle - As the largest island of the keys, The Hissing Isle is surprisingly the best explored, due to its fairly thin jungles and large open beaches. As its name implies, the isle houses and rather large population of snakes. Ranging from the small cobras and boa constrictors, to the giant titanoboas, the snakes are largely a small concern to the inhabitants of the isle.
The Savage Island - Home to a large variety of large reptilian creatures, The Savage Island has caused the largest amount of issues when it came to establishing settlements. Some of the creatures that call the island home are highly territorial, attacking almost every effort made to settle it. Due to this issue, it's very difficult to mark where an existing village is, but most prefer the coastline that puts them within close proximity to Terradon Run.
Terradon Run - Terradon Run is a thin strip of land just north of The Savage Island, however they are technically part of the same island. The strip of jungle covered land is inhabited by a notable number of flying reptiles, Terradons.
The Dense Island - The Dense Island is named after its most obvious feature, the dense jungles that take up a majority of the land. Between the dense forest, and mountain range along the northern coast, lies a small stretch of grasslands. This unique climate makes the island the most diverse in life, and more specifically, monsters.
The Kraken Pool - In the center of the three islands, is the whirlpool known as the Kraken Pool. Enclosed on all sides by the underwater mountain peaks that seem to be common around The Empire of Monsters, it isn’t visible to most. As for why it exists, many claim it’s the source of the many sea monsters in the area, though no evidence of this actually exists.
