The Christmas Truce is a widespread cessation of hostilities that took place on the Western Front of the First World War on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 1914. A week before Christmas (December 25, 1914), some British and German soldiers began exchanging Christmas greetings and songs through the trenches, they crossed the front line to talk to their opponents and exchange gifts with them. I was very touched by this episode in the First World War, I really wanted to draw a drawing in honor of this event
