I gave my merman-mage a name: Tabeus.

He doesn't have many powers that work underwater, besides lighting and shapeshifting. Unfortunately, the only thing he can change into is a weedy sea dragon. Which is tiny, but such an oddity he wouldn't exactly be stealthy. And he'd probably get lost in currents making him a poor traveler. So it isn't a form he used very often. (He's not a great mage.)


I love how strange weedy sea dragons look. It's as though mother nature decided to let Tim Burton take over aquatic animal design for a while.
