Timon is born in the Komboli Mob to Madini and Berko, the group's dominant couple at the time. He never really fit in with the rest of his birth mob, as he often messed up with repairing burrows while often resulted in tunnels being damaged, and he almost gets his great-uncle Maksim killed by hyenas after messing up on sentry duty one day. Seeing how he clearly didn't fit in with the rest of the Komboli, Timon decides to leave and find a new mob to join, but not before receiving a fond farewell from his mother.
His roving eventually leads him to a different meerkat mob known as the Kufu, where he ends up being welcomed in after befriending a mischievous male named Fred. After failing to woo a subordinate female name Lulu, Timon ends up setting his sights on Tatiana, the group's current dominant female who had yet to find a breeding partner. After being convinced by Fred, Timon leaves his guard post in the mob one day in an attempt to get to know her, which allows a snake to invade the territory and take Tatiana. After Tatiana is presumed dead, her father Duka has Timon banished from the Kunu Mob for what he had done.
Not long afterwards, Timon ends up meeting a warthog named Pumbaa after narrowly avoiding being snatched by an eagle. Pumbaa reveals that he too is an outcast, having been kicked out of his old sounder due to his foul odor. After realizing that they both had a lot in common, the two animals decide to become the best of friends. A short while later, the duo discover the snake that took Tatiana and Timon sees that she is still alive. After he and Pumbaa work together to drive off the snake, Timon returns Tatiana to Kunu Mob, where both of them are warmly welcomed back and Timon is lauded as a hero. Tatiana offers Timon the chance to become her mate, but once he learns that Pumbaa wouldn't be allowed to live in the mob, Timon turns down her offer in favor of staying with his best friend.
From that day onward, Timon and his newly found friend Pumbaa decide to not worry about anything and end up finding a nice home for themselves in a desert oasis. The two best friends live happily together and end up added one more animal to their friend group when they end up taking in a lone lion cub, and the rest from there is history.
And here's Timon! For his backstory in my TLK-verse, I decided to do what Kirroc did and combine elements from TLK 1 1/2 and the T&P episode Once Upon A Timon. For the record, I don't actually hate TLK 1 1/2. I just don't consider it to be completely canon.
