Bees and wasps are always so tricky since they rarely stay in one spot x_x

aye and very hard to catch em in a nice angle for this macro lens too.

though I do have a nice size wall of mixed vines that seem to drive these guys and most other wasp/bees crazy. so there are ample subjects to work with usually.

of course there is one flying bug that seems all but impossible for me to take a shot of. Hawk moths.
those little miniature hummingbirds just plain drive me insane. there one moment then two feet away the next. >.<

yeah, moths can be tricky. Sometimes if you find the larger ones during the day, you can get them in a sluggish state.
