lol they do that in EVERY racing series...rally, Baja, Trophy Trucks, they're called sponsors and you need them in order to race...if you have no sponsors you have no money therefore you can't race...so by putting them on your car you're helping them sell stuff which in turns makes you money
Well yeah, I know what they are and why they're there, but in racing games, you never see stuff like this unless it's a) a game about a specific kind of racing thing like the ones you mentioned, or b) it's an unlockable car that you can get by doing something specific, and it usually has really high stats (see the later burnout games, plus... i think a couple of NFS games did it too). Actually going out of one's way to make a car like that in a game is just is all. ;P
