Would have been my dad's birthday today, and I usually draw him a gecko (something he often requested from me) in his honour. This year, however; I wanted to do something a little different.

A picture based on I guess what you would say was 'our song'. It's one he introduced to me (along with many others, especially Pink Floyd) but it's the one that always makes me think of him.

Photo in the Background is one I took in London when me and my sister feral-deer went to see Rammnstein live for the first time. Dad had got us the tickets before he died, and while Rammnstein was totally not his music tastes, I think we both appreciated rocking out.

BONUS SONG TIME - here is another song dad 'dedicated' to me. You got to imagine I'd never heard this song before, so I'm sitting there listening to this track, and he's got a huge grin on his face as he's watching me listening to the opening of the song...then the first few lyrics hit, and I gave him the most despondent look ever. But it's a very good song as well, and we had a good laugh.
