Out of all the true dragon species, Chaos Dragons are by far the most bizarre. Upon reaching 15 years of age, they undergo a drastic physical transformation, becoming bipedal and capable of flight. After this metamorphosis, their intelligence levels skyrocket to above those of average humans. Still, they remain hostile to whatever life form crosses their path.
They are also sometimes called "the Wailing Death" due to the loud and shrill screams they emit when hunting. These deathly wails are meant to stun their prey just long enough for the dragon to swoop down from the sky and tear it apart, limb from limb. Sometimes, they will simply injure their prey and then fall back, just so they can follow their victim to its kin, thus finding more food for future hunting.
Some individual dragons have been tamed and employed as members of the border patrol for the country of Gorothia. The only reason why they agreed to such a position is that they submitted to the power of Gorothia's ruler: The Demon Lord Tentagoroth.
