Wow, a fetish? I could see how people would view that as creepy but I'm not one of those people. Sadly enough though, I really don't have much of a vocabulary so I'm envious of you.
That's true, you definitely put more detail into your hair but like with that other photo (the fireflies one) I think it really makes sthattand out as compared to the other characters whom has less detailed hair. It give a variety whereas most art has a singular type of hair which makes it un-unique.

It's one of the things that seperates my art style from a lot of similar ones... But it makes short hair inconsistent because I don't know how to draw it. XD
