Part 3:
Waking to the sound of herons, my first thought was to rub my eyes and climb out of the sleeping bag… only to discover that my hands had been traded out for stubby, trapezoid-shaped fins that could not be moved no matter how much effort I gave it. Also, instead of resting atop a bed, all around me there was nothing but blue, clear water, engulfing my bright-green, bloated, naked body. I mean… Did this even count as naked?
-
When I tried to exclaim my surprise, with my expression completely frozen on this rubbery face, I remembered the previous day and instantly welled up with rage... That shaman's spell actually turned me into a pathetic, inanimate toy... right at the start of the most important trip of my life! I needed to be holding my camera on the shoreline, not floating through the loch as a dumb, squeaky pool-Nessie!
-
My campsite was nowhere to be seen, and as I continued to drift with the currents, the scenery seemed more and more remote. The undisturbed environment was rather beautiful, but all I could think about was all the lost opportunities for photos. A river ride from the perspective of a floatie was like a theme park attraction… This was more adventurous than anything I had ever achieved as an explorer, and I could not capture a single second of it! So many other photographers would have loved to see this!
-
And I had no idea where this water would leave me by tomorrow morning, when I finally return to my proper form. I was trained to fend for myself out in the wild, so it was terrifying to let mother nature decide my path, especially while in this vulnerable state. I could be swept out to the ocean, or dumped off a waterfall into a cavern! My career centered around visiting the places I wanted, while now the little fish swimming beside me had more freedom than I did, and the most gentle breeze was able to send me floating in a completely new direction or even blow me ashore.
-
Once I was completely woken up, there was little else to occupy myself with. It was demeaning to imagine my friends seeing me like this, but at least actual pool toys had people playing with them, while I wasn’t even allowed that. My body didn’t crave any breakfast, there was no point in trying to keep a journal, and as frustrating as it was, no way to pick up a camera. I could only entertain myself with the sights of birds flying by, as well as schools of fish bubbling beneath me, without even the ability to turn my head into another direction. The most thrilling experience available was the slow wobbling of my body.
-
It was compelling enough to watch the flocks of birds flapping through the sky and landing upon the water, or diving to capture some fish, but my opinion quickly changed when one of the birds swooped down and perched its scaly feet on my ring, using me like an ocean buoy. It just stood there, scanning the water for fish to grab, tickling my latexy surface with its claws and feathers, while there was nothing I could possibly do to scare it away. I couldn’t bear the thought that I was a potential victim of bird poop, just like some statue in a park… Or worse, what if the curious creature decided to poke my thin layer of “skin?” What would even happen to me if I popped? Would my gaseous neurons just scatter around in the atmosphere until I disappeared?
-
No no no! Stop thinking about that!
-
I tried my hardest to ignore the unwelcome animal walking around on my smooth body, the way its claws caused my skin to partially sink inward, and how I would wobble violently everytime it flew off to catch fish and circle back to me… The shaman really had made me invisible to the animals, but in a completely evil-genie style! If at least I could have a camera strapped to my head, this would be different, but now I’m just immobilized and wasting my weekend for no purpose…
At some point I could swear something much larger zipped by beneath the depths, but with this bloated muzzle obscuring my lower vision, seeing the green blur was nearly impossible! It just looked like a jade-coloured cloud! Could that have actually been… her? Was my one chance to get a good look at the Loch Ness monster lost because of this big dumb snout?
-
If I still had a heart, it would have stung at that thought…
-
But then the long, emerald-coloured silhouette rushed by again.
-
It went by incredibly quickly, but I swear it looked like me… minus the rubber skin, hole in my chest, and relatively small size… gah, how I wished I could just tilt my head downward for a good view!
-
A couple minutes later it… or she… swooped by under the waves… and started to twirl in a circle. My peripheral vision watched the green sea creature grow closer, rising up from beneath the surface…
-
The waves began to bob like crazy, and the fish all scurried away. I could barely make out a long neck, hump, and reptilian tail to top it all off… Just like the shadow in all those old pictures...
-
This… this had to be her! I was finally having a close encounter with Nessie! I… I was amazed that she was coming so near after evading humans for centuries! Even without my camera, this was a massive breakthrough!
-
However, that brief moment of joy turned to fright as I realized that the monster was barreling straight towards me... and I wanted to paddle away before-
-
SHWAAH! A long, green muzzle came bursting through the inside of my ring, hard scales grinding at my smooth rubber. The seagull perched on my body was instantly ejected and took to the skies as that snout jammed itself through the center of my chest.
-
My rubbery ring seemed to be about the same side of her muzzle, which was able to seamlessly penetrate that opening as if I had been custom made to fit her. However, as the rest of the monster’s head and neck surfaced, I felt the contours of her face press against my lower body and lift me up, unable to pass through the hole. She was wearing me on her nose!
-
I was rather snug while stuck on her snout, but before long Nessie opened her mouth and I was stretched from the inside by her strength, my ring momentarily forced over a meter wide. I was not only introduced to Nessie, but also to the elasticity of this new form, which broadened against her hard scales until my green surface was partially transparent. It actually seemed like my body started to sweat as it was stretched wide, going over her head.
-
She kept widening her maw to force me through her head, and I continuously tried to yelp and gasp through a nonexistent mouth. Did the Loch Ness Monster actually think I was a toy for her to play with!? I had hoped to acquire a couple far-away snapshots during this trip, nothing this up-close and personal!
-
The monster continued to stretch me, but I was clearly not fitting over her head. Since that wasn’t working, a pair of large, scaly fins burst from beneath to help. Those wide, flat limbs towered over me, each one the size of my whole self. The two raft-sized flippers wrapped the opposite sides of my body, pushing me against her so that the beast could force me over her head.
-
“Squeak squeak squeak!” My body produced a series of balloon-like noises as she contorted me. Those embarrassing sounds were the only expressions I could make to show my intense embarrassment.
-
She pushed, and pushed, and right when I thought the monster was gonna pop me… my ring passed her head, and I slid down a long neck, which was the perfect width to… wear me. The sudden shock from stretching and returning to my original shape caused the air in my body to wobble, spinning my thoughts around… And as much as I hated to even think the words… my… “hole” was sore.
-
My body grinded against every scale and bump in the monster’s throat, completely impaled. I was yanked down by her fins until resting above the shoulders, and as the creature continued to rise from the depths, she carried me straight out of the water. I watched her entire, massive body reveal itself, basking ten meters above the surface. Four fins swatted beneath the water to keep her afloat. Her humped back was twice a person’s height in length. The creature most considered a myth was completely out in the open!
-
Her big tail slammed against the surface, producing so many waves the loch could be mistaken for a rapid, and whenever a fin wafted from the depths, it yielded a splash so loud that birds perched in the forest flew away.
-
That beast’s neck was more flexible than an elephant’s trunk, constantly whipping as I wiggled right above her torso. She bent it downwards enough to make perfect eye contact with my rubber body, even twisting her head around to be upright as she studied my frozen face...
-
If I could express myself, I would have been shivering and begging for my life, but with a closer look at her eyes and snout, she actually didn’t seem angry, or ravenous, or anything befitting a legendary beast… she almost seemed to smile playfully. As if she was delighted to have just found a new toy floating out on the water, abandoned by the humans…
-
She had a reptilian face, with a long snout, two flaring nostrils, and eyes with long slits, however her scales were shiny and perfectly flat, like most of the fish. If I allowed myself to fantasise a little, I would say she resembled a mix of jurassic broncosaurus and dragon.
-
Nessie opened her mouth and a long, pink tongue slathered over my rubbery face, pushing my neck back and covering me with monster saliva. I wasn’t sure to be horrified that this great beast was wearing me around her neck like a choker, able to carry me whether she wants… or relieved that she didn’t try biting me.
-
She actually thought I was a toy! Thanks to the shaman’s spell, Nessie had no reason to assume that this cute, creaking object had a human soul! She must assume some family lost their floatie after a day of rafting! If she really thought that, maybe she would take me to her hideout! I would get a level of insight into the Loch Ness Monster that no human ever had before!
-
With Nessie revealing herself on the surface like that, the size of a school bus, I wondered why she hadn’t been captured by hidden cameras and microphones so far. I mean, she was just there in plain sight! I thought back to one of my leading hypotheses, which theorized that she was able to detect objects displaying a human “aura,” such as motion detectors and periscopes… which the shaman’s magic now obscured from me!… That explained why my camera died off yesterday, and the watch stuttered too. Not only did her spell require me to change forms, but also disable every electronic device in the vicinity.
-
Nessie swam down the length, sporting me as an accessory for a long time, which I had to grow accustomed to. It was embarrassing to admit, but having that thick, slippery neck stretching my ring-hole felt almost welcome and fulfilling, like a tight hug. Once I got over the initial panic, it felt less like an impalement and more like a firm caress.
-
As she slowly receded back into the water, my own buoyancy pushed me up her neck until my head poked at Nessie’s chin. When she leaned forward, my muzzle was dipped into the loch, forcing me to face each impending wave head on, having them splash in my rubbery eyes as if I was staring through swimming goggles. The splooshing sounds were somehow relaxing as she paraded me like a ship’s figurehead.
-
“Squeak, squeak…” Nessie would soon descend even deeper, pushing her large head beneath the water and taking me along with it, until I was completely submerged despite my body’s natural tendency to float. For a second I was scared of being drowned, only to remember that pool toys were perfectly designed for this function! People rolled up floaties and kept them stuffed in air-tight boxes all the time!
-
Once I was engulfed, the beast easily dragged me lower and lower into the depths, with my air-pumped vessel desperately attempting to lift to the surface, as if gravity was reversed. My body arched and creaked, tail and head pointed straight up, but the monster would only bring me further and further down..
-
As an amateur diver myself, being underwater used to be refreshing and relaxing, but now that my body was an inanimate air pocket, the intense water pressure gave me the opposite sensation of last night. Rather than having my thoughts slow down and disperse, my crackling neurons were compressed from all sides and completely overhyped. Each sensation was intensified and pleasurous: Every air bubble sliding over me, Nessie’s smooth scales bumping my squishy skin, the sounds of her flippers pushing water away was… AGH! GFFUIAYVIJAIYVA! There is so much happening!. Since I was unable to move, all I could do was process every stimulus in excruciating detail.
-
When we finally reached the dirt upon the bottom of the loch, my body was so desperate to be let go that my tail and neck were stretching upwards like balloons held by a string. The atmosphere shimmered hundreds of meters above us, while I was stuck below Nessie’s long face.
-
When Nessie raised her chin, I was teased with the idea of a release as my body drifted a couple inches higher, still trapped by her big head. As my fins naturally reached for the sky, the movement almost felt conscious, and my embarrassed grin made me look like I was begging Nessie to let me go. She twisted her head, causing me to slowly slip up her sides, ring going over her ear-holes until I got stuck again… and with a sudden push from her flippers, I was thrust over her snout and the monster released me.
-
“Squeaaak!” Those balloon-like noises burbled through the water as my body instantly jetted skywards, propelled by the laws of physics, and I would have been screaming if I could. My body drew towards the atmosphere like a torpedo. And the closer I got to the surface, the more my body decompressed, causing my thoughts to scatter in all directions as I expanded. It was the fastest moment of my life.
-
Once I finally broke back into the atmosphere, my velocity was so high that I jumped fifteen meters into the air, causing all the birds floating on the surface to fly away in terror. Like on a rollercoaster, at the peak I stood still, stomach jumping up and down, flippers splayed outwards and tail swatting. The view was completely gorgeous while it lasted, a hundred times more magical than any picture my camera could snap, until I began my descent. And then, I landed right back upon the surface of the water without making a noise, bouncing over the waves, just like any inflatable.
-
The static in my head buzzed, and all the air vibrated frantically, causing my latex surface to wobble, which felt like taking quick, deep breaths except the lungs were my entire body. I would have been crying from the rush, plus toppling over dizzily, if that happened to me as a person.
-
Before I could calm down, another large mass burst from the depths beside me, creating small waves and almost causing my weightless body to flip upside down. Nessie swam after me, still not done playing even after witnessing me leap into the sky, oblivious that her new toy had a soul. I wondered how often a random object drifted within the legendary creature’s range, and how many she had played with… or if I was the first lucky, or unlucky one, to catch her interest.
-
The beast dove underneath the surface, swimming upside down, and two of her massive, flat fins revealed themselves on opposite sides of my body. Her belly emerged beneath me like a rising island, pushing me upwards with its surprisingly-soft surface, and I mentally cringed in fear as her fins gripped over my relatively small body, pushing me into her chest.
-
“Squeak!” I let out as I was squished into her tight hug, those fins way stronger than my stubby inflatable ones. Nessie crammed the opposite sides of my ring inward, changing me from an “O” to a “0”, sending the extra air up to my head. I creaked loudly as she kept on folding and unfolding me like an accordion, and the embarrassed expression across my rubbery face stretched in all directions, even fading the ink a bit.
-
It was hard to focus as the static energy making up my thoughts was compressed up into my head, causing many ideas and feelings to gobble together randomly and trigger a storm of conflicting emotions. While my human thoughts were freaking out that I was being crushed by a massive, legendary monster, the playful side could not help but interpret this as a sort of… affectionate embrace. It didn’t hurt to be contorted like this but… I was supposed to hate it… right?
-
Her fins completely covered my back like a heavy blanket, letting only my overinflating head breathe while she carelessly paddled down the loch, with her two big, shiny eyes locked with mine.
-
She leaned her muzzle closer, and my mind sharpened in fear at her slow approach. The beast puckered her lips, and even though some instinct told me to back away, she planted a big, wet kiss on my dumb face, pushing my rotund muzzle inward.
-
I never thought my exchange with the Loch Ness monster would go like this… The blush on my latex complexion was never so true, and I could swear a few more red stripes magically appeared on my cheeks to denote my embarrassment… Wait! Wasn’t there something that I needed to remember about being kissed in this state?
-
She kept me on her stomach for a while, fins swapping between pushing me inward and pulling me wide, treating me like a stress relief toy. My air was constantly on the move, bloating up my head and stupid tail with each crush. At some point, one of her large fins painlessly crammed my neck tube shut, separating the air in my head from the rest of my body. She then started to periodically hug and release my body so that my tear-drop-shaped tail and butt would grow and deflate on command. I was held so tightly that almost all of my air was forced into that huge tail, which got as large as Nessie’s head.
-
By all metrics, if my body could pop, that would’ve been the time, as the surface of my hind end had been stretched thinner than a hair! Yet, no matter how much I was squeezed and forced to bloat and stretch, my latexy surface seemed to perfectly adjust to the pressure. It was like this toy body was designed indestructibly for beasts.
-
“Squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak, squeak!” She continued to play with my inflatable body for longer than I could discern; stretching out my ring into unique shapes, testing my elasticity. Sometimes she would flip and hug me beneath the water, like a kid having fun with a new cuddly teddy bear. As if to show me just how malleable I was, she playfully pushed my snout and tail into my body, collapsing them painlessly into tiny stubs that would promptly bloat back out. She even tossed me upwards and started bumping at my big butt with her long tail, trying to keep me airborne for as long as she could.
-
When Nessie seemed to finally get tired of playing, her two fins held me in place against her belly, while she brought her long neck forward to equip me again. I had to deal with that wet nose slowly squeezing itself through my hole for the second time, and no amount of “practice” would ever make that process less overwhelming and shameful. I creaked repeatedly as my ring stretched enough to slide around her head back into the long neck, giving me one hell of a hole-ache...
-
From there, she seemed to go about her business, diving under the surface to scout the loch, simply bringing me along as a decoration. Whenever my attention wasn’t completely taken by the bizarre sensation of her neck puncturing clean through me, this vantage point allowed me to have an almost first-person view of Nessie swarming schools of fish for food, taking bites of seaweed from the bottom, and even reaching out of the lake for berries. Small lumps went down her neck whenever she swallowed, momentarily tickling my ring.
-
Her mannerisms were absolutely fascinating to witness up close, as someone who had researched every obscure legend about the beast. A few times throughout history, people were blessed to bear eyes on the monster and snap blurry pictures, but none had been able to follow her daily rituals like this! I wanted to chart the way her fins elegantly propelled her through the deep blue, how remarkably flexible her long neck was, the lonely sounds she made under the water as the supposed last of her species...
-
“Rrrrrrrrrrrr…”
-
But the most incredible thing was her strange capacity to avoid any form of human presence whatsoever! As she carried me around the loch all day, it would seem that her loud splashes and massive body would attract attention, but I never saw a person or a boat anywhere, as if the creature could detect those things from miles away. There was even a moment when she suddenly submerged for no reason, only for a jetski to appear in the distance minutes later.
-
Yesterday, I was cursing that damn shaman for the ridiculous “prank” of transforming me into a stupid floatie during a trip I had planned for months, but now I considered the merit of body modification as an avenue to explore the wilderness. I was actually enjoying that experience and the special opportunity to accompany a mythical creature in her daily life… Part of me even wondered if, after all that madness was over, I would willingly put myself through that hassle another time to uncover more of the world’s secrets…
-
Hundreds of explorers had set out before me to find Nessie, and only a few managed to even get a brief, blurry glimpse upon her magnificent form. This was a million times better than anything I hoped to see on my trip…
-
...and I could not capture a single moment of it! None of the journalists would believe anything if I returned from Ness without a picture! If I honestly told the public every detail of this story, not only would I lose my respect by presenting the tale without any evidence, but I’d also have to deal with the humiliation of explaining to the public how I magically transformed into a pooltoy! People not only would think I was crazy, but some sort of deviant too!
-
It was such a pain in the ring… I mean… pain in the ass, to know that none of these sights could ever be shared, and to get it again I would need to take another shameful form. The only proof that this exchange happened at all was in my memories…
-
For the rest of the day, my mind was mostly dazed by the events. As I was unable to move at all, my only stimulus was following Nessie around. After hours of that, I even began to feel the throbbing of her veins against my rubbery hole, and the warmth of her body slowly irradiating my air molecules until I was as hot as her. At a certain point, I was so hypnotized that I began catching signals of her nerves as the monster commanded its limbs and tail, feeling as if we were moving as a single being!
-
One of the most surprising steps of Nessie’s daily schedule was when she actually returned to the surface in order to watch the gleaming sunset in a way I had never seen animals do. She brought me with her on the neck, as if my floatie vessel was her date. She quietly floated atop the water, letting out quiet expressions of her solitude as the light reflected off of me.
-
“Rrrr….rrrr…”
-
Maybe, just like a castaway living for decades on a desolate island, to ease her loneliness Nessie saw me as some sort of imaginary friend, never suspecting I was actually real. Part of me wanted her to know that she was not truly alone tonight… although I sadly had to agree that “staying away from humans” was probably the reason Nessie had survived for hundreds of years.
-
We watched the sky go from yellow, to pink and finally to dark. I was awestruck the whole time, wishing my eyes could shed tears as a way of applauding that natural beauty. Even the monster’s heart beats accelerated as she gazed at the spectacle, and I couldn’t help but feel a certain connection to her… Not like man and animal… not like toy and monster… but as two creatures who were mutually minuscule in comparison to the grandeur of the universe.
-
After that, she plunged us back into the depths, once again sending me into a battle with the water pressure. We waded through a small crevasse, hidden behind a bunch of underwater roots that formed a barrier of secrecy, and Nessie made herself comfortable atop the soft sand. The monster didn’t seem to have a hideout after all, instead resting wherever she could be safe from people. After patting the ground, the monster laid on her back and curled her neck, bringing me into a warm embrace with her torso and tail. I let out a blurbley, embarrassed squeak as she squished me between her head and her belly, pushing my head down with her chin.
-
Though I knew that I should have been terrified to be held so tightly by one of the strongest beasts on earth, her green scales provided a warmth that I didn’t have the previous night. At that point, I was so used to her body and her presence that this was nothing more than a loving cuddle. Part of me even wished I could hug her in return...
-
I seriously did not want to think like a silly toy serving the purpose of making its owner happy, but something was satisfying about Nessie snoozing so soundly while holding me, snorting out bubbles. I could not help but hope that I had improved her day with this ridiculous form I had got myself stuck in… Perhaps that feeling of fulfillment was part of the shaman’s magic? Something that allowed me to live through that very strange situation without panicking? Or was I truly getting attached to Nessie?…
-
Despite the perpetual stretching and embarrassment, plus the loud snore of the beast, I would soon find myself lulled into “sleep mode” once again. My rubbery skin relaxed and stretched out, reducing the pressure and causing the static buildup of my neurons to scatter all the way to the tip of my fins and tail, making it difficult to think at all.
-
Relaxed, despite a million reasons to be freaking out, I managed to drift off into sleep. The Loch Ness monster would keep me safe… and warm… and happy… all night…
