Requested by Tomhur, who asked for"An arrogant, stuck up and haughty super model goes to the Zoo for a photo shoot. However when she gets there she discovers that the shoot involves her being turned into an Elephant. After being changed she complains about being fat and asks when they will turn her back only for the zoo to inform her it's permanent much to her shock and horror."

1: couldn't the zoo use the elephants they already have? What type of shitty zoo doesn't have elephants?
2: are these guys gonna take care of her for the rest of her life, or are they gonna ship her off to Africa or something to presumably die?
3: wouldn't they have told her it was permanent before this point?? Seems like a important detail.
4: why and how in the heck is the zoo capable of doing this??

Not the artist nor the person who requested this, but I have some theories.
1) This zoo doesn't have elephants. It doesn't have much of anything anymore and probably won't last much longer at this rate. The city deemed the zoo non-essential and cut its funding to put instead into social programs that all end up funneling the money back to the governor in a major fraud ring. The DoJ is owned by the governor's party so this is allowed to continue.
2) They do welcome her to the zoo, and probably plan for the former. But because of the situation stated above, they will probably have to do the latter, yes. If the city doesn't just order the animals shot to disincentive residents from leaving their homes, anyways.
3) It is implied they do but as they said, she didn't follow their directions to avoid this outcome. Seems like she wasn't paying attention at all.
4) It's an old experimental bioweapon originally made by the military for use overseas, but was rejected because manufactoring it, even without the cure (which was developed with the idea to repurpose this for covert operations) was just way too expensive compared to the old fashioned way of manufactoring ammo. A plan at one point was to be put into effect to use it on citizens the government wants to dissappear, but once again, it was too expensive to be practical. Now the zoo has it thanks to a couple connections in high up places, though obviously the vast majority of employees have no idea about this.

1, they do, but getting an animal to do specific things requires a lot of time and training to do so, which costs a lot of money, and then there is no guarantee that the animal will actually do the thing you want in to do in the end, whereas a pre-human would be able to do a lot of more complicated tasks without that
2, unknown, as it wasn't specified so it would be up to the viewer, but personally i would say she would stay at the zoo as another resident elephant, as long as she were to behave herself, if i had a trouble animal at my zoo, i wouldn't be keeping it around, and would ship it off to somewhere else :3
3, again unknown but personally head canon being "An arrogant, stuck up and haughty super model" i see it as no one wants to work with her and they did it to get ride of her, but due to her connections they couldn't just not hire her generally for jobs
4, i would say the zoo didn't, but science, ain't it great when advance genetic dna mutation is allowed to run free without the torches and pitchforks of ethics and morals XD just think of the possibilities we would have without those
