So, I went to my first AnthroCon this year, and I met Paul Defenbaugh, an artist whose work I've enjoyed for the last twelve years or so. On the last day I got to commission him for a portrait of Lea, but there wasn't time for him to complete it. Fortunately he decided to drive the couple hours to IndianaFurCon, where I got to watch him work on this. My favorite bit was watching how he did the watercolors. Really cool stuff.

Unfortunately it was REALLY humid that weekend, and I think that's why the water colors puckered the paper so much. Made it difficult to scan, so it's a little blurry on the left side, but I think it came out pretty nice.
