This is the first thing I saw at AnthroCon 2010, and it turned out to have been done by a pretty famous artist. I wound up buying it, and commissioning a watercolor of Leasara as well. The actual picture is so huge I had to use our Tabloid-size (A3, 11x17) scanner and do it as three scans, then join them together in Photoshop. The scans didn't match up exactly, but it's close enough that you can appreciate the image.

The original must be gigantic if it can't fit on an 11x17 scanner.
BTW, if you don't mind my asking, what brand/model is it, and how much did it set you back? I've been looking around for one for years and they're all too pricey for me.
A lovely portrait of Alicia, as always, from Ms. Wyman.

A lovely portrait of Alicia, as always, from Ms. Wyman.
I remember meeting Vicky Wyman (back in the 1990s) at several conventions in Philadelphia (both "PhilCon" and "AnthroCon"), where she used to display her artwork from the comic book "Xanadu", as well as some original drawings of her character 'Alicia'. I even got Vicky to draw the unicorn character in my big black sketch book (which used to be a ledger), and I hope to post it in my own "FA" site, in the near future...
