The 1954 Ford Customline Tudor Sedan couldn’t break the speed of sound, but its hood ornament suggests speed. Post World War II, the world’s attention was on speed with rapid developments in military and civilian transportation. That was reflected in the design of this hood ornament which resembles the tailless delta wing F-102 Delta Dagger which was undergoing tests for the USAF at the time. Today it reflects the lights of its home at the Midwest Dream Car Collection in Manhattan, Kansas.
