About 5 days ago, I basically woke up and said, "I'm going to be a great furry artist." Thing is, I have NEVER touched anatomy. All of my art is photography, digital media, and animation. For the sake of experiment, I'm keeping a journal that's keeping track of my progress, day by day.
Yes, I understand this picture is ugly, it's crappy, its face was rushed etc. But I want you to keep in mind:
5 days ago I couldn't tell an arm from a leg. 5 days later after hours upon hours of practice, and over 25 pages of full sketch paper, I made this picture. So IN THAT CONTEXT... Considering that I had, virtually, zero anatomical proportions understanding.... I don't think it's a bad start.
So now that you understand the context of this picture...
Tear it apart! Rip it open! Shove its blatant problems down my throat! Go into MSPaint, draw a penis on the head, and tell me it's better. Tell me how much you hate it. Tell me how much it sucks.
I WANT constructive feedback. Please help me springboard off of this base I've created.
NOTE:
The inking and coloring was thrown together in a matter of hours in photoshop. I moreso want you to focus on the sketch than the ink.

I thought the same exact thing. I've been training INTENSE with human models trying to cram anatomy. I think that's the problem. The head is too small, and the body is too human-like, the arms are a tad big larger than they should be, and the legs are a tad bit too long.
