Zbrush, Blender, CSP. Probably something like 35hrs? Ish? I dunno. I'm really bad at geustimating time. Feels like I always either grossly overestimate or underestimate. Yes Derp Frogé.

If you want to DL this for a screensaver or whatever, WAIT!!! There are nitpicks pending but I have a migraine and I can't see right now for shit (I've had to retype this sentence like five times. D;). So just hang tight. Wait till later tonight and you can DL it for screensavers or whatever. Should be done by midnight.

I feel like I've long had kind of a.... eh. I dunno that "problem" is the right word? Issue, maybe? With overly soft lighting. I feel like that's probably part of my "artistic identity" at this point but I do try to mix things up sometimes. So you can look forward to different lighting attempts in the near future.

One of the things you may want to try for is sunshine, and beach lighting (California lighting), with all sharp edged shadows and deep contrasts. If you can make it look bright and shiny like those old Kodak Commercials from the 70's and 80's, then you will have succeeded. Then switch over to English lighting. soft shadows overcast, and desaturated, just to play both sides.
Meanwhile, finally got the new computer, and am plowing through Blender tutorials. Need to find some decent Blender sculpting tutorials, because all my old software like Z-Brush doesn't work currently

For some reason, I find that kind of lighting really hard to pull off but ya know what? I'll give it a try with my next piece. :3
Also, congrats! I'm looking forward to getting a new rig sometime the end of this year, hopefully. I'll have a lot of catching up to do by then.

Everything but the graphics card is now affordable. I spent bout 2 grand on a new system with a closed lop liquid cooler. It's very quiet, and powerful. Also I've never had a solid state system before and boot ups are almost, but not quite like turning on a light switch. Wait until after Christmas to pick up the Graphics Card.
