Unsurprisingly, and as her name would suggest, Veronica LeBay orginated within and spent most of her early life in the land of Luxumentum. Another blemish against that realm's reputation, LeBay would commit one of her most heinous crimes against Luxumentum's Crown Prince Lance Vuxillion II, a todd described as a skilled duelist and most handsome bachelor before his abduction. Though there are many stories describing Prince Lance as a skirt-chaser (likely to be true considering the debauchery of Luxese nobility), it was he who would soon find himself seduced, and with catastrophic effects.
Accounts vary on what exactly happened next, especially in regards to the ultimate fates of the Prince and those who discovered him, but what is known is that his rescuers arrived too late. Following a lead, possibly left by the killer sorceress herself, a group of nobles and soldiers found Prince Lance in a sorry state. Fattened to unimaginable proportions and nearly drained of all his blood, it was remarkable that he was found alive, though depending on who you believe, this detail too was planned by his abductor. Regardless of what transpired next, the bloodthirsty vampire bat known as Veronica LeBay was never found despite years of searching; though seeing as almost three hundred years have passed since she was last seen, it is unlikely she still presents a danger to society.
