Having mastered the craft of the stage magician, Alexandra Dee Mysteria went out to learn how to create far more amazing shows and create the Illusions she hoped would bring to her the acclaim she believed she could bring back to her father's name.

It was during one of her performances overseas that she gained a mysterious benefactor that as he said, would bless her with greater powers of Illusion on some sort of wager. She has yet to see them again and her powers came just in time for the world war that quickly began to engulf the world.

It was only later in Germany behind the lines she found out that her power was gifted to her by the God Loki, for good or Ill she wasn't sure, but she continues to use her gifts to help the Allies.

Is backstory sounding pretty good to others? I'm pretty meh when it comes to writing but I am hoping the character sounds good from a Golden Age bit of amusement.
