OF COURSE there's gonna be dragons in my fantasy story! It'd be crazy if there wasn't any! BUT now there's smaller domesticated dragons called Pitdragons. They were specifically bred to control large livestock(not everyone breeds cute little sheep). Some are even trained as mounts. Most hunters prefer pit dragons over horses. They can't fly like their behemoth cousins, but they can glide. Some assholes like breeding them for Pitdragon fights.

Dragons are known for their large size and fire breath. Unless you specialize in hunting them people will usually run for cover when they fly near. Dragons won't mess with anything smaller then them unless they're messing with the food in their territory, their eggs, OR they try to harm them first. It's illegal to hunt dragons in the land of Solstice. The only time it's allowed is if it's self defense, but if the high king gets word of hunters in his country he WILL send assassins out to hunt them first. SO DON'T EVEN TRY IT! 👀

lol I've had the idea for these small domesticated dragons for the longest time. Now I can finally get these fantasy lore ideas outta my head! I gotta talk more about the lands and stuff. Solstice loves their dragons and the adjacent land Equinox loves their unicorns. Also I went with this type of dragon cause I LOVE wyvern designs more then the four legged ones.
