(Boot Hill is a series of illustrations I made about a zombie apocalypse occurring at the end of the Old West, with every person who died a violent death on United States soil from April 16th, 1865 and onward returning as zombies.)
When the dead rose from their graves, the many outlaws that had once plagued the American West returned, and amongst them were The Daltons, more savage and cruel than they had ever been in life. Now hungering for the flesh of the living as well as their gold, the Dalton Brothers swept across the West, leading a new Dalton Gang to massacre entire towns, leaving nothing but death and horror in their wake. However, stories began to circle about a man following this trail of death, intent on destroying the undead outlaws and their henchmen. Though no one knows for sure who this hunter is, some witnesses describe him as wearing a tattered prison uniform, and belive he is in fact Emmett Dalton, the sole survivor of the Dalton brothers, having escaped from prison to seek out his brothers and put an end to what they've become, once and for all...
