I wanted to see what a friend's character looked like next to mine. His is the enormous wolf, and by process of elimination mine is the lion. His wolf is supposed to be 6 feet at the shoulders, but I took 6 inches of of artistic license and made him 5'6". 6 feet was scary big.
I've learned that the fun thing about digital is that it let me cheat, and draw both characters separately, and then scale them as needed. I did try the honest way, but it didn't work out so well.
I may give a little experiment coloring the wolf, who is grey/black. Would be a good exercise.

5'6" at the shoulders seems a little less scary in comparison to your character. I imagine if his head would down it wouldn't look quite as intimidating He'd look more pony sized rather than OMG sized. :)
Yep, strange head posture, that. With the head held straight out forward, now, and a forepaw raised anticipatively...
