Me and the hubby have been working hard to achieve our goals this year. Rook more than me. He used to play football so a lot of the fundamentals are still with him. And his push up game is incredible in my eyes. And thanks to the hard work he no longer has to worry about his diabetes.
As for me, I'm happy to be down to where I am and will continue to lose weight in a healthier manner than what I did back in college which almost led me to have an eating disorder. Sure I got down to 180 lbs but I lost my gallbladder in the process so that pretty much screamed that I was doing things the wrong way. (losing too much weight too quickly caused gallstones and multiple attacks. not fun). I got back to being my lazy self after that for 8+ years. After noticing that I couldn't take the stairs without losing my breathe and sitting around most of the time made my body ache, I knew something was majorly off with me. I couldn't keep up with our son or play games with him because I strained just moving around and complained my feet hurt all the time. Pretty much I felt I was cutting my life and losing time to be with our kid.
So here we are today, reaching our goals slowly. But we are making it. Our diets have changed for the better and we are setting a positive example for our son. (Still miss my coffee though...Dunkin donuts, my love!)We want to be more muscular, but that'll take a couple more years that we're will to do.
This is not bragging in any form, this is showing encouragement that your goals can be obtained if you keep at it. It'll be hard, but it can be done. Stick with it and fight your urges to quit.
KEEP AT IT!
The first week of training, we both looked like fish out of water and flopped around using the equipment, but we got better. The sled can go fuck itself still. I'm willing to share some embarrassing experiences if wanted XD

Yeah just talked to my trainer about the excess skin thing. Weight loss is supposed to gradual expecially if you're on the bigger side since your skin has to readjust and tighten along with you like a rubber band. Too much can result in the extra skin or ,hell, losing a gallbladder like I did. I congratdulate you on your weight loss. 150 is amazing number lose in that time frame and must feel incredible to get off.
I've been at the weight loss game for almost ten years now. I steadily did more as I grew stronger, and nowadays, I am more muscle than I am fat. Officially, I have 15 pounds left, but my gut seems to be the very last thing left to lose. It's why I started, so it's a bit annoying to see that it's still hanging around! :/ A good lot of my goth clothes struggle with the gut so it can be a bit discouraging, but out of everyone I live with, I am the only one who has stuck with it.
I used to weigh 260 when I first moved down to georgia, but now I have gotten down to 176. Plateauing can be quite frustrating, and I have done it quite a few times. The goal is 160, but it seems like I can't get it any lower than 176.
