I really love this one...
his species barely comes through between his hair in the way, the clothing, and the fact that I shaved him XD but... I can really sorta feel his personality though the image and that's what counts the most I think.
Of the Astray team, Ivo is really the most quiet and contemplative one in private. It's rare for him to raise his voice (unless Gig is involved) and he serves as the backbone of the team. Regardless of the trinity leadership, Ivo is generally considered the unofficial leader of the group, as he is usually the one seen calling the shots, negotiating with neighboring lands, and drawing up strategies. If there is ever a problem, Ivo is the one that the team usually turns to for advice or aid. Team Astray would have likely fallen apart long before now if not for his efforts.
I think he's the only member of the upper three that's romantically involved with anyone... well, as far as serious relationships go anyways. Gig will hump anything he can get his claws on and Zutara is... just sorta aloof in general. Perhaps it's because of his level head and general maturity that makes the defining difference in Ivo's ability to actually have a meaningful relationship with someone. I'd go into more detail but... I haven't drawn her yet... Xp
That symbol on his sweater is the symbol I'm using to represent Team Astray... which I only point out because for some reason I was afraid it'd be mistaken for one of those Star Trek label pins... XD

for some reason I'm thinking that's the other way around...
but I'll admit not having really checked up on their stats in a while... my brain just goes physical attack -> Fighting type -> Psychic is strong vs Fighting... -> he must be good against physical attacks XD
I dunno, I've always imagined him as a defensive fighter, so that probably factors in too. I'm probably just thinking about how he avoids or blocks most attacks though... I suppose if he was actually taking damage from blows, THEN he could probably only take so many... but I'd still rate him as tougher than most in that regard.

Oh nah, they take one physical blow, they go down... Abra, Kadabra, and Alakazam only things they have going for them is inflated special attack and high speed, most of the time they have to compensate for their crappy defenses with Barrier. Ideally you want to move first, and KO in the first blow... moves like Charge Beam, Psychic, Energy Ball, Focus Blast are smiled upon, NEVER!! teach it moves like Psycho Cut.
