Deep within ancient lands in areas long forgotten and untouched by civilization resides a few rare pale blue trees with luminescent white leaves known as the Aetherion Trees, or Trees of Light. Legend has it that the glowing blue fruit of these trees can heal any wound and cure any disease, purifying those who eat from it as it is an essence of light. If you brew the leaves into a tea and drink it the legend says that you will become young again, the leaves of an Aetherion tree being one of the supposed ingredients to immortality. And that the root archways form gates into the spirit realm... But what the legends do not go over is the protector's of the trees and the forest around them. Born from the naturally fallen leaves of the Aetherion tree, the aptly named Aetherians are curious and playful forest spirits with an affinity to light and holy magic.
