Spent some time, last couple of weeks, on this idea, basically a third version of my fursona :3
She's a naga-like parasite, covered in short fur, shaped like on the right of the drawing.
Any organic creature that try to eat her, fall in a sort of dream-state and lose their bodies control.
Kimera can then control all parts of them like an extension of her own body.
Her favorite and default host is a male lion, jokingly named George (as in the picture).
She can retract inside him or stay partially outside and appear as a taur-kind.
She can leave the host at any moment, she also need to eat enough for both to stay healthy.
For reference, Kimera v2 is the taur I used so far, Kimera v1, aka Kima, is an anthro feline-spider hybrid.

All creatures with a single soul will be put in a dream state and disconnected from their own body. Probably sentient ones will simply agree a pact before doing it compared to ferals that act istintively. (works perfectly as anti-vore system too!)
In case of multi minds it's quite fun, Kimera will control only the part associated with the mind that eats her.
Imagine a tail maw, she will control only the tail portion. Fortunately she is not a jerk and usually play it safe :3
