My submission for the Werewolf Calendar. I was assigned my favorite month, October, and had to depict a "rogue" werewolf hunting people meats. Mmm, people meats.

Holy god, the lighting effect of the lantern against both the highwayman and the werewolf's face is just ... so VIVID! And the almost ethereal look to the trees in the background only makes this appropriately-themed submission even MORE eerie and surreal. Prolly one of the best "October" calendar ideas I've ever seen.
I gotta say, given what I've seen thus far of the Werewolf Calendar project, this is going to be VERY awesome. As a huge werewolf folklore geek, I need to get my hands on this beaut. Any idea when it goes on sale?

"My, what big fangs you have!" Great shading work, with the areas of fur lit up by the lamp contrasted with the rest of the pelt. And this all acrylics? Damn, but the subtle fur textures looks like what you could only get with pencils (at least to my eyes)! How large is the original canvas?
