I get you. I also have seen some gross stuff and I'm not really into gore. I also don't want to kill my characters who have actual name and personality. But on the other I think the context of fatal vore soinds me more natural, more belivable. If a carnivore eats someone it very likely also wants to digest them not just swallow for fun and then release them. But this is only my opinion.
