In order to keep Emperor Galactic's army fighting, even after lost limbs and augmenting them to get them to perform better, research is required on the biology of each species that makes up his vast armies. While my greatest works continue to perform well, the designs can always be improved as well. Research and study is the life blood of my profession, and I won't see my time wasted.
