A brilliant student and a sorceress of great potential, Melina studies at an academy for mages of (almost) all disciplines. Starting her learning as a young kit she learned the ways of the magical arts and how they can help the world, and the dangers of those who seek to destroy it. Now an adult, she studies more advanced forms of mystical control, with this level of study often taking years if not decades before mastery. Though with an adventurous heart and an impatience for results she often ventures out into the world to practice what she learns. Though the world is a vastly different place than the cozy halls of an academy and the luxury of plentiful sources of power for a quick charge of one's magic reserves.
