I bid farewell to the human race as I acclimate myself to my new species and my new world... and y'know what? This isn't half bad! I think I might enjoy being an alligator after all.

But be careful with the hug - I once went to a private aquarium in upstate New York where for $3 you could buy a white rat they'd put on a little outcropping in a gator's tank; it didn't take long for the gator to make a snack out of the little guy.
Of course I would never do such a thing, especially to a friend.
