That's really great! Most of the time I feel like the rain protector (being that if it's raining, I'm often out in it at work, watching over the little ones)...but when it's a -lot- of rain to the point where rain gear fails me and my shoes are sloshing and I'm just soaked to the core, I end up feeling more like the little one: shivering, in need of a bit of protection myself, and a longing for that warmth and maybe just a little bit of dryness for myself.

Our rain totals have finally started to shift to normal, and we've been getting quite a bit of rain over the past couple of weeks. So this piece, I feel like I can really identify with it.
