First personal art thingy I've done in months (about-ish 6 to be exact).
Wanted to celebrate getting my second covid shot and spread awareness about it
Back in March/April, I came down hard with covid and so did my father, I was knocked out for nearly two weeks and had lasting respiratory issues for months while I recovered. My father got hospitalized after a week and passed away later in April, his death hit us very hard and I've lost nearly all my perspective for the future and haven't had anything to look forward to ever since.
Despite that, I've been hanging on, keeping busy, and keeping his legacy alive in whichever way I can, and now that vaccines have started rolling out, I've made sure to get mine as soon as I could.
Because of politics, we here in Brazil didn't get vaccines until much later than in other countries. If vaccines were available earlier, maybe my father could still have been here, but alas, that is not the case.
Please, do get vaccinated if you can and are able to.

I got COIVD on December and many ideas passed through my head while I was hospitalized, mainly if I would be able to survive it. Lucky for me I got over a COVID pneumonia and even more lucky I’d didn’t need to go to intensive care but I did have long term respiratory problems, not that they are severe but I notice I get tired with ease.
I know what it is to have to rethink your whole future in a few days and I’m very sorry about your father. I saw here in Spain your “president” sayin it would be “una gripeciña o un resfriadiño” (a small flu or a small cold). Like many bureaucrats around the world they sneered at the threat and people paid the price.
I’m glad you could still move on and look for new goals, so keep at it.

I'm fairly certain he is proud of you. You're a good man, a good friend and a wonderful artist I've had the pleasure of working with. You have skill and talent and you put it to use to make fantastic worlds for people to enjoy. You also draw big guys in suits really well ;)
Glad you’re getting protection from reinfection. Terrible to hear about your father, I hope the rest of your family stays safe during the pandemic.
Maybe Brazil will do better than the US in regards to vaccine hesitancy…
