That boat was tough to draw.
More events on the water as the rowing events take place. And everyone at Tranquil Island have their eyes on Samson Scott as he shows the world his military skills and strength as he rows his boat to the finals. With great speed, concentration, and muscle, Samson rows pass the other competitors and over the finish line and gets the Gold.
EJ: Wow! Major, sir! You dominated this event!
Samson: Thank you.
EJ: How does this victory make you feel?
Samson: Good.
EJ: Any inspiring advice to give other hopeful rowers?
Samson: Never give up and stay focused.

GASP! SAMSON'S WEARING A SPEEDO! SAMSON'S WEARING A SPEEDO! ANOTHER SPEEDO PIC! HOORAYYYYYY!!!!!!!
...Ahem. Yeah. XD But also, he looks *so* *good* wearing it. ;D I must say, those are *great* colors on him, he should wear that more often! I'll bet a certain horse would agree with me.

Heh, and I love how casual and taciturn Samson was during his interview. A man of few words, he is. The strong, silent type.
Also, I believe you that the boat was the hardest part to draw! Man, all those little details... but I *LOVE* how you also gave "wave lines" to make it look like it's actually in the water! So cool, nice touch, dude! :D

I knew I had to at least have one speedo guy. And I knew this was perfect for both the event and Samson.
These colors are to represent his country colors. But he still favors his military green. Of course Darius would agree. He loves Samson in any color.

Samson is also humble. He won't let his pride get in the way. So he keeps things simple, even when he wins. But when he's alone, he'll celebrate his victory.
I was looking at a real boat as a reference again. But even then it was still a challenge, especially at that perspective. But I love how it came out.
