Every year on the first Saturday of September, the vulture awareness day is hosted by multiple organisations to help raise people's attention to the endangerment of vultures around the globe. As being a crucial part in our ecosystem, the preservation of this species has to be ensured... unfortunately the control of their population is hard with every airborne animal. Reservation organisations struggle to keep up with government regulations, poachers and the upkeep of their own facilities and are reliant on funds and donations on their mission to keep the species from extinction.
