When I hit the dance floor, I hit the dance floor hard ~
Now that he's suited up and shiny in his new latex catsuit, it was time for Athen to strut his stuff on and tear up the dance floor downtown at Neon Paradise. He'd been coming here for a while now and had become one of the regulars, so once he saw Athen coming the doorman just waved him straight to the head of the queue and under the velvet rope. The benefits of his growing VIP status he guessed. Once inside the club, he grabbed a drink and circling around the dance floor, saying hello to everyone and stopping to chat with a few of the other club-goers he had gotten to know. Receiving more than a few comments and compliments on his new suit as he did so. Athen knew he looked good in this suit so he put in extra effort to flaunt it.
But he came to a dead stop when the Dj switched to a new track and his favourite dance mix came on. The techno beat overtook him and he was drawn towards the dance floor before he knew what was happening. He made his way to the middle of the grinding crowd and let himself surrender to the music, letting his body go with the flow. As he grooved to the beat of the music his moves became more energetic and the crowd around him opened up to form a wide circle around the dancing stallion. Then the fog machines kicked in, the floor began to glow the club's trademark neon hues and the spotlight came down on Athen. And that was the moment when he and the club truly came alive. He threw himself body and soul into the music, dancing with abandon like he was possessed by the rhythm itself. He could feel all eyes in the club on him but Athen didn't care, he wanted them to look, wanted them to see what he was made of. Right now, in this moment, he was king of the dancefloor.
Tonight the club was all his and he was gonna own it!
